One School, Built To Grow With Three Communities
Why Minasro Exists
Minasro College was built around a simple problem: good, structured K-11 education shouldn't depend on which town a family happens to live in. So instead of building one large campus in one location, Minasro operates as three independent campuses — in Gorakaduwa, Mathugama and Meegahatenna — each teaching the same curriculum, to the same standard, under one academic leadership.
That structure means a family doesn't have to choose between "a good school" and "a school close to home." It also means a student who moves between our catchment areas doesn't have to change schools, syllabus, or academic pace — they simply change campuses.
Every campus runs the full Grade 1 to Grade 11 programme, with its own classrooms, teaching staff and facilities, connected by one shared set of academic standards, assessment practices, and — as our school management system comes online — one shared digital record for every student.
Our Vision
A Minasro education that any family in our three communities can rely on — regardless of which campus their child attends — measured by real academic outcomes, not just enrolment numbers.
Our Mission
To run three independently strong campuses under one academic standard — with qualified teachers, a curriculum that compounds year over year, and clear, direct communication with every parent.
Four Things We Hold Every Campus To
One Curriculum, No Exceptions
A student transferring between Gorakaduwa, Mathugama or Meegahatenna moves into the same syllabus, at the same pace — not a different school in disguise.
Teachers Who Know Their Students
Class sizes and staffing are set so teachers can track individual progress, not just teach to the middle of the room.
Parents Are Kept In The Loop
Attendance, conduct and academic progress are communicated directly to parents — not left for a student to relay, or a term-end surprise.
Every Grade Builds On The Last
Curriculum planning happens across all 11 grades together, so what’s taught in Grade 4 is deliberately preparing a student for Grade 5.
One Standard, Delivered Locally
