Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up. We also participate in inter-school, district, state and national level competitions.
In-house Publications
We have several writers who are encouraged to come up with creations that are regularly published in our in-house magazines. We host a book sale every 2 years to promote our writers and their work.
Performing Arts & Music
With professionals on board, we take pride in training our students in art forms like dance, drama, painting and more. We organize exhibitions, concerts and musical events to encourage our students to own their talent and flourish in those fields.
Nala Mudu Suwanda 2024" – A Magical Preschool Concert at Minasro College
Minasro College proudly hosted the much-anticipated preschool concert, “Nala Mudu Suwanda 2024,” on January 25, 2025, as a vibrant outdoor event on our school premises. The concert was a grand celebration of our little stars’ talents, bringing joy and excitement to all who attended.
The evening was filled with mesmerizing performances, including colorful dances, delightful songs, and engaging skits, all presented by our enthusiastic preschool students. The open-air setting added to the magical ambiance, creating a memorable experience for parents, teachers, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the event.

Minasro College Sports Meet 2025: A Day of Unity, Strength, and Victory!
The much-anticipated Minasro College Sports Meet 2025 was held on February 26 at the Liyanaarachchi Ground, Matugama, bringing together students, teachers, and parents for a day of excitement and sportsmanship. The school’s two houses, Legends and Avengers, competed fiercely, showcasing their athleticism, teamwork, and determination.
From the moment the opening ceremony began, the energy was electrifying. The honored chief guests, along with parents and well-wishers, graced the occasion, adding to the grandeur of the event. The students participated wholeheartedly in various track and field events, demonstrating their agility, speed, and strength. Whether it was the sprints, relays, long jump, or high jump, the enthusiasm of the participants was truly inspiring.
One of the most thrilling moments of the day was the school relay, where teams raced against time, passing the baton with incredible coordination and teamwork. The crowd cheered passionately, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and encouragement.
After an intense and exhilarating competition, Legends emerged as the champions, while Avengers secured the position of runners-up. However, beyond the victories and medals, the true essence of the event lay in the spirit of sportsmanship and the unity among students. Every student participated with enthusiasm, proving that sports are not just about winning but also about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
